In a dispute over its privacy policy, WhatsApp continues to add additional features to its social messaging application. We recently saw that the company added a feature to permanently disable archive chats. To help users find suitable stickers for their chats, WhatsApp has released a feature that can automatically recommend stickers based on your message context.

The trusted WhatsApp guide WABetaInfo recently discovered a new feature to find stickers. It is currently available in WhatsApp Beta # for Android. Therefore, it is currently only available to a small number of Android users.

WhatsApp Sticker Suggestions

As for the working of the feature, it is pretty simple. You can initiate it by typing a keyword in your chat box during a WhatsApp conversation. If the app detects the keyword, the emoji or the sticker button to the left of your chat box will turn green, notifying you of relevant stickers based on the keyword. Tapping the sticker button will show you all the stickers that are contextually relevant to the keyword.

This feature is currently not available for stickers from third-party applications or stickers you created in the WhatsApp Sticker Maker application. However, users who create sticker packs can associate their works with relevant keywords so that they can be discovered using WhatsApp algorithms in the future.

In order to check if this feature is available on your device, you can enter keywords in the WhatsApp chat and check if the emoji button turns into a green sticky button. Available to a small number of Android users. However, you can try to update the beta version of WhatsApp on your Android device to see if the new features apply to you. Otherwise, you can wait for the company to start promoting it globally.
