Flash Calls Verification on WhatsApp
Now, if you switch your smartphone and try to log in to your WhatsApp account on a new device, you probably know that WhatsApp will ask you to provide an OTP (One Time Password) to verify your identity. “It was recently discovered in the latest beta version of WhatsApp. This gives you the option to verify your WhatsApp account over the phone.
A well-known WhatsApp insider WABetaInfo recently discovered the Flash Calls feature in WhatsApp Android Beta # 221.11. Report, such a feature Currently under development.
How will it work?
Flash Calls is a quick way to verify your WhatsApp account. With this new method, when you try to log in to your account, the app will call your number and automatically disconnect you after making one or two calls. The last phone number in the call log is a number that provides you with a 6-digit code to verify your account. If they match, you will be logged in.
It’s worth noting that you need to grant the app permission to access the call log, and allow and manage the calls on your device. Since Apple does not have a public API to read call logs, unfortunately iOS users cannot use this feature.
Once everything is complete, the Flash Calls feature will only be available on the Android version of WhatsApp, and it is likely to be optional. Apart from comparing the phone numbers on your device, WhatsApp will not use your call history for any other purpose. WhatsApp will release this feature to the public in a future update, but there is no exact date or timeline to say when it will be available in the stable version of the application.
