It seems that Microsoft wants to help students complete math homework. After launching the math app on Android and iOS last year, the Redmond giant is adding math solving capabilities to its Edge browser. This article will show you how to use Edge’s math solver to easily solve problems.
Use Math Solver in the browser
By default, math solvers are enabled in Edge Beta, Dev, and Canary channels. However, in the stable version of Edge, it is hidden behind the feature logo. Therefore, you must first enable the “Edge Flag” feature before you can use it.
Enable Math Solver in Edge

Visit the edge://flags and search for “Math Solver in Microsoft Edge“. Activate the flag and restart the browser. Or, you can paste the following address into the edge address bar.
edge://flags/#edge-math-solver
How to use Math Solver
After activation, you can access this function through the horizontal three-dot menu in the upper right corner. Click it, go to the “More Tools” section, and select “Math Solver” from the list of options displayed. The full path is as follows: Menu -> More Tools -> Math Solver.

2. Open mathematical problems, preferably basic problems, pre-algebra, algebra, mathematical word problems, trigonometry, number theory, probability, volume, surface, math, or statistics problems. Then use the math solver selector in Microsoft Edge to select the problem. After selecting, click the “Resolve” button to get the answer.

3. After a few seconds, you will see the solution and graphical representation in the right column.

4. You can also view the steps by clicking the View Solution Steps button. For more information on this topic, check out the recommended video under the solution.

5. In addition to selecting a math problem on a web page or document, you can also use the advanced keyboard to type a problem in the “Math Solutions” section of Microsoft Edge.

Use Math Solver on Edge Mindfully
This is all the knowledge needed to start using the next Edge math solver feature. This may not be useful to everyone, but students will prefer this convenience. However, Microsoft needs to include a feature that allows administrators or teachers to disable this feature for remote students.
