Samsung recently launched a spate of Galaxy A-series phones in India, and with the debut of the Galaxy M53 5G on April 22, the company now wants to focus on its Galaxy M series. To recall, the phone was just released in the United States as a variant of the Galaxy A73 5G, although with minor modifications. Here’s what to anticipate.

Galaxy M53 5G Coming to India Later This Week

Samsung announced the launch date of the Galaxy M53 5G in India via a tweet. The launch will take place at 12 p.m. on April 22. Mukul Sharma, a leaker, had already revealed it.

The phone will be available for purchase through Amazon India, which has launched a microsite for it, divulging a few information in the process. The Galaxy M53 5G will have a Super AMOLED+ display and 108MP cameras, as well as a “segment only auto data switching capability,” as we already know. It will most likely cost less than Rs 30,000.

The Galaxy M53 5G will have a 6.7-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole in the middle, according to the specs sheet. A MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC will power the tablet, which will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s unclear whether the phone will be available in multiple RAM+storage configurations in India.

A 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor will be available on the smartphone’s back. There will also be a 32MP selfie camera onboard. Photo Remaster, Object Remover, and effects for video calling will be added as well.

A 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, Android 12-based One UI 4.0, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and more are among the other features. However, exact pricing and availability data are still unknown, and we’ll have to wait until the April 22 debut, which is just around the horizon, to find out everything we need to know.
