What is a Snapchat Score?

Snapchat score is a metric for how active you are on the app. Your Snapchat score is determined by the number of Snaps you send and receive, the Stories you publish, and a few “other parameters,” according to the business. We’re not sure what these additional factors are, but they definitely contribute to your Snapchat score and help you improve it.

How to Find Your Snapchat Score

1. Launch the Snapchat app and tap the Bitmoji symbol in the upper-left corner. Next to the ghost icon on the Profile screen, you can see your Snapchat score. My Snapchat score, for example, is 1,870.

2. By pressing on the small ghost icon, you can now see a breakdown of the number of Snaps you’ve sent and received. As you can see, in order to improve my Snapscore, I plainly need to respond to Snaps I receive more frequently.

Note: Note: As you can see in the screenshot below, summing the number of sent and received Snaps (127 + 1731 = 1858) does not equal the overall Snap score (1870). This demonstrates that Snap story uploads and other factors have a part in calculating the Snapchat score.

How To Find Snapchat Score of Friends

You may also lookup your friend’s Snapchat score if you’re intrigued. To learn how it works, simply follow the steps below:

1. Go to the bottom navigation bar of Snapchat and select the chat tab. Then, open the conversation window of the buddy whose Snapchat score you’d like to find out, and tap on their name at the top to go to their profile. The Snapchat score of your acquaintance may be found on the profile screen.

2. When you press on the ghost icon, you won’t see the number of Snaps your friend has sent or received, unlike your Snapscore. Instead, you only see the overall Snapscore. This is a privacy-friendly decision because you probably don’t want anyone to know what you’re up to on Snap.
