At its I/O developer conference in May, Google first teased its upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones as well as the Pixel Watch. Today, the company is back with an official date for their full unveiling. The timing of this announcement has nothing to do with tomorrow’s major fall event from Apple. Right?
Anyhow, on October 6 at 10 AM ET, Google will unveil its newest gadgets. By clicking on this link, you can subscribe for updates and add the time and date to your calendar.
The company has also revealed the name of the new chipset that will power the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Contrary to popular belief, it isn’t called Tensor 2 but Tensor G2. Perhaps “G” for Google?
Finally, Google unveiled the future gadgets’ colour schemes. As a result, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be offered in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow, the Pixel 7 will only be available in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow.
