Clubhouse, a social media platform focused on audio, is finally available for Android. The app will continue to follow the invitation-only model, and the first Beta version of Android is only available to US users who can pre-register the app in the Play Store to be notified when the app is released.
Clubhouse on Android
Clubhouse announced the release of the Android application in an official blog post. If you get an invitation from an existing Clubhouse user and you are in the United States, you can use Clubhouse on Android. Before the global release, app will be available in other English-speaking countries/regions.
“As we head into the summer and continue to scale out the backend, we plan to begin opening up even further, welcoming millions (of) more people in from the iOS waitlist, expanding language support, and adding more accessibility features, so that people worldwide can experience Clubhouse in a way that feels native to them,” says the clubhouse.
Not surprisingly, the user interface of Clubhouse is the same as iOS.
