Apple decides to aid India in its Covid 19 crisis

With the rising cases of Covid 19 in India and the rapid depletion of medical and ground support, Apple, the trillion-dollar company decides to come to aid. During the second wave, the multiple parts of India has been severely effected and it took the cases not more than a couple of days to skyrocket from 1 lakhs to that of three.

Citing the country’s situation, we recently saw Google donate a tremendous amount of Rs. 135 crores to India to help them fight the Covid 19 spread. Now, the Apple CEO, Tim cook, has come forward and offer a helping hand.

In the recent tweet shared, the CEO offered the words of motivation and appreciation to the medical and ground staff, showing the empathy for the people suffering from the Covid 19 followed by a promise to donate funds to back the people in hopes of overcoming this crisis. Although the tweet doesn’t involve any specifics as to the amount or the timeline of when the help will be sent or any official announcements from the Apple itself, there is still hope. Now that the CEO has come forward, we can expect the official statement coming from the multi-national company itself in a day or two.

Looking at the situation right now, India is on the brink of losing it all and any help offered might solve a few problems among many India is facing right now. From the shortage of oxygen cylinders to the ICU beds in hospitals, aid is necessary.
